Connelly and Associates recently drilled a water well for Ressie Jeffries Elementary School’s new water chiller plant. The bedded limestone and voids known to exist in this area can make for a challenging drilling environment. This well was ultimately drilled to 480 feet in depth and steel casing was installed to 111 feet in depth, ten feet into competent bedrock. The well yielded approximately 12gpm with a volume of approximately 750 gallons. This work exceeded the demand in the project specifications and now provides clean water for the operation of the water chiller plant. This was a great project to be a part of and great accomplishment for our team.
